Huangtandong Village, far from the hustle and bustle, is simple, ancient, and peaceful. With a history of more than 700 years, it was selected into the first batch of China's Landscape Ancient Villages in 2007 for its "ancient village, lush forests, beautiful waters, and unique rocks". The folk houses in the village are built against the mountains, adapting to the terrain. Steep rock peaks stand like walls around the village, majestic and (steep and lofty), with lush bamboo and trees between the rocks forming two green barriers. A small stream flows through the village center, with waterfalls at both east and west ends, the sound of water murmuring, forming a unique and beautiful idyllic landscape area.
The Huangtandong Folk Culture Tourism Festival is held in the ancient village of Huangtandong, lasting a full month, during which various folk activities will be staged in turn. On-site experiences include various characteristic folk cultures, such as handmade rice cakes and farmhouse wine brewing, and you can also feel and taste the lively characteristic farmhouse banquets.
