Tourism Safety Instructions and Precautions

Tourism Safety Instructions and Precautions To ensure the tourism activities provided by the company achieve optimal results and allow everyone to enjoy the trip thoroughly, while preventing potential safety hazards and ensuring the smooth completion of our itinerary, please read these instructions carefully and strictly follow them to avoid accidents.

1、Safety Precautions for Transportation

 1. Board or alight from planes, vehicles, or ships only after they have come to a complete stop. Follow the safety management regulations or signposts at airports, stations, and ports, and queue up politely; give priority to the elderly, children, and women. Do not crowd to avoid accidents. Do not carry prohibited items.

 2. During temporary stops of planes, vehicles, or ships, obey the arrangements of service personnel and do not go far from the vehicle/ship.

 3. During the ride, do not talk to the driver or urge them to speed, violate traffic rules, or overtake recklessly. Do not stick your head, hands, feet, or luggage out of the window to prevent accidents.

 4. When getting off for sightseeing, dining, or shopping, please close the vehicle windows and take all valuables with you to avoid loss or theft.

 5. When taking a flight, comply with civil aviation safety regulations, especially do not use mobile phones or other radio communication tools or electronic games on the plane.

2、Safety Precautions for Accommodation

 1. After checking in, familiarize yourself with the hotel's safety instructions and the location of emergency exits, safety exits, fire escapes, or safe evacuation routes.

 2. Check whether the items provided by the hotel (such as bathroom non-slip mats) are complete and undamaged. If any are missing or broken, report to the hotel staff or tour guide immediately. If certain items are unavailable due to local conditions, please exercise caution to prevent accidents.

 3. Valuables should be stored in the hotel's front desk safe or kept properly by yourself; do not leave them in the room when going out. Any loss will be at your own risk.

 4. Do not disclose your hotel name or room number to strangers. Do not allow strangers or people claiming to be hotel maintenance personnel to enter your room arbitrarily. Lock the door when entering or exiting, and check before sleeping whether the door and windows are closed and the safety lock is engaged. Keep items beside you, not near the window.

 5. When going out after checking in, inform the tour guide. Obtain a hotel key card from the front desk, which has the hotel's address and phone number (or copy the address/phone number). If lost, use the address to ask for directions or take a taxi back safely.

 6. Do not panic in case of emergencies. In case of a fire, do not take elevators or jump from windows. Calmly judge the fire situation and take self-rescue measures: if your clothes catch fire, roll on the ground or use heavy clothing to suppress the flames. When passing through smoky corridors or passages, wrap yourself in wet clothing, cover your mouth and nose, and crawl close to the ground along the wall. If the door is blocked by fire, use wet clothing or quilts to block the door(crack) and pour water to cool down while waiting for rescue, or wave brightly colored clothing to call for help.

3、Food Hygiene Safety Precautions

 1. When purchasing food at tourist destinations, check the quality. Do not eat food that is unhygienic, has an unusual odor, or is spoiled.

 2. Do not accept or consume cigarettes, food, or drinks from strangers to prevent being tricked or stolen.

 3. Maintain a reasonable diet during the trip; do not overeat, binge drink, or crave excessive food.

 4. To prevent acclimatization issues during the journey, prepare some common medicines for emergencies. Do not take medicines provided by others casually.

 5. The travel agency does not advocate or arrange drinking, and shall not be liable for accidents caused by tourists' drinking. Friends who like drinking should strictly control their alcohol intake during the trip, preferably not exceeding one-third of their usual amount. All responsibilities for alcohol-related disturbances, violations of social order, infringement of others' rights, or self-harm shall be borne by the perpetrator.

4、Sightseeing Safety Precautions 1. Listen to the safety tips and advice from local tour guides, mainly to prevent accidents and sudden illnesses. 2. Do not crowd when passing through dangerous areas (such as steep, narrow paths or slippery roads). When visiting steep spots, consider whether your physical condition is suitable; do not force yourself or take chances. 3. When climbing mountains or participating in activities, proceed according to your physical condition, take appropriate rests, avoid overly strenuous exercises or activities beyond your ability, and take protective measures.

 4. When sightseeing or engaging in activities on water (including rivers, lakes, seas, and reservoirs), wear life jackets for boating safety and do not go to deep waters or dangerous river sections alone.

 5. When taking cable cars or other passenger sightseeing vehicles, obey the arrangements of scenic area staff. Do not ride if overloaded, overcrowded, or in other abnormal conditions to prevent danger.

 6. Do not travel alone during sightseeing. If lost, wait for the tour guide or call for help; do not panic. During free activities, do not go too far. Tourists with minors should earnestly fulfill their guardianship responsibilities, supervise their children, and do not allow minors to act alone.

 7. During free activity time in the itinerary, tourists should choose activities they can control the risk of and act within their risk tolerance. Except for special groups, the travel agency does not arrange high-risk activities such as racing, horse riding, rock climbing, gliding, exploratory rafting, skiing, swimming in the sea, diving, skydiving, hot air ballooning, bungee jumping, surfing, etc. Tourists are advised not to participate in these activities during free time. If tourists insist on participating, they shall bear the risks themselves.

5、Shopping and Entertainment Safety Precautions

 1. Do not easily believe the product recommendations of mobile salespeople. If not intending to buy, do not ask for prices or bargain with merchants.

 2. Carefully identify the authenticity of goods and do not rush to pay. Request official invoices when shopping.

 3. Do not follow product salespeople to remote places for shopping or picking up goods. When shopping or entertaining in crowded places, protect your wallet, handbag, valuables, and documents. Do not act alone, and do not go to entertainment venues with poor management. Tourists should mainly prevent fraud, theft, and robbery during shopping and entertainment.

 4. When entertaining in scenic areas, participate in suitable projects according to your physical condition. Do not go out for entertainment alone during free time; do not go to poorly managed entertainment venues or participate in illegal entertainment activities.

6、Other Safety Precautions

1. Follow the tour guide's arrangements, remember the gathering time and place, identify the type, license plate number, and color of your vehicle, and do not be late (personal responsibility applies for delays).

2. During tourism activities, to prevent fire accidents, do not carry flammable or explosive items, do not litter cigarette butts or open flames, and comply with safety management regulations and laws of transportation departments, hotels, etc.

3. When traveling by plane, bring valid ID (children should bring original household registers; those over 16 without ID cards need original photo household registration certificates from the police station) and keep them safe. When the tour guide gives you the air ticket, check whether the name, round-trip time, destination, and flight number are correct. Keep the air ticket and train ticket safe and cooperate with the guide to collect them. The travel agency will not be responsible for missed flights due to personal reasons.

4. In case of personal injury or property accidents during the journey, the handling shall be in accordance with regulations or contracts stipulated by relevant authorities (such as transportation departments, hotels, insurance companies, scenic area management units) or investigated by public security departments. The travel agency will make every effort to provide necessary assistance. **Tourism safety is the top priority of travel activities, and ensuring it is the common responsibility of the travel agency and all tourists.** Dear friends, for the happiness of yourself and others, please pay attention to tourism safety.
