Dragon Beard Waterfall, hence the name Siyi, comes down like a dragon's beard with branching points. As the saying goes, 'the divine dragon sees its head but not its tail.' This is the most outstanding landscape of the Xipan Gorge, where the first waterfall of the Dragon Tour is the Dragon Beard Waterfall. You see, the waterfall is split in half by a rock in the middle, and the waterfall flows down to form two natural whiskers, just like the two whiskers of the divine dragon, which are thin, long, and scattered, hence it is called the Dragon Beard Waterfall. This is the dragon head of the divine dragon, the first bend of the Eight Fold Waterfall. A small pond forms below the Dragon Beard Waterfall, and by the pond lies a lush forest of stream green trees. Stream green trees are a type of tree that grows by the stream or river in our local area. This tree has strong vitality and a fast growth rate. Even if its roots are fully exposed, it only needs to wrap around a few stones by the water or at the bottom of the water to continue growing. Its leaves are large and green, making it cool at the bottom of the tree in summer. However, there is a downside that this tree is prone to insect growth. This used to be a large area of creek green forest, but after a typhoon in 1997, flash floods broke out and the creek water washed away all the creek green. What we see now is the natural growth that followed.
